MECHANICAL ENGINEER Sherwin Alumina is seeks seeking qualified candidates for the position of Mechanical Engineer to work at the Sherwin Alumina Plant in Corpus Christi, Texas. Position requires candidate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Position requires plant maintenance experience or engineering functions with a strong preference for experience within maintenance and maintenance systems.
Eight years experience preferred. Maintenance experience with rotating equipment, excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Other requirements include vibration analysis and hydraulic systems analysis and troubleshooting experience, experience in managing turnaround activities and extensive knowledge of respective codes and standards.
